Getting a lot of questions about this lately, so I wanted to put together a comprehensive post addressing the relationship between these two peptides and optimal sequencing.
Great information. Thank you. I'm wondering, some people report their subject has an energy crash after SS-31 which seems odd to me. However my RS is using the low dosing you mentioned and there have been no such issues. I wonder if higher dose, or simply not needing SS-31 would be what is going on there. hmmmm
I have read some research on doing mots-c in the morning the followed by ss-31 in the afternoon. Since they do perform different functions repair & atp they work synergistically together. What is your thoughts?
I always prefer running SS31 by itself before MOTS-C. I'd rather do the repair before I start producing more mitochondria that may potentially have damage.
I'm late to the comment section. I originally was going to ask a question then the whole squirrel thing kicked in. 🙄
Is there anything other than Mots-C you recommend running after a round of SS-31? I'm just curious. We hear so much about Mots-C following SS-31 but are there other peptides equally as effective or maybe more so we can follow SS-31 with?
from everything I’ve come across nothing is nearly as effective as mots-c. Humanin is an interesting one but, I’ve heard underwhelming results. Something you can implement before ss-31 is fox-04-dri. This is supposed to help ss-31 work better
I've thought about the fox 04 but if I remember right it's kind of pricey so I've put it off. I'm researching with VIP, NAD, & Glutithione for a bit of a kick in the rear. I also started DSIP for sleep and my sleep tracker was wild the 1st morning right out of the gate! The amount of REM and deep sleep was basically almost double.
Off the top of my head fatigue, brain fog, gastrointestinal issues, poor exercise recovery, poor stamina during exercise, it's a cellular issue so there are several.
you may see more effects with mots-c first but, regardless the repair still needs to be done you basically running on 1/4 a system by starting mots-c which equates to results but, only a small result
This is such good and helpful information, Derek! Thank you so much!
no problem ty for listening!

Great place.
I'm here!
Thank you, Derek! So helpful for someone who has a mitochondrial disorder. 🫶
it makes a big difference, hopefully this helps!
I've seen alot of conflicting dosage protocols for SS-31. What do u recommend?
broke it all down here https://derekpruski.substack.com/p/unlimited-energy-guide-breaking-down?r=4jq1x8

Interesting I'm not a fan of dsip it did the opposite, halved my numbers
Are there signs/symptoms if one is experiencing mitochondrial distress?
